Tue 19:08:2008 10:44 Yup, it was wet again. Not so much from above this time though, every where is sodden from all the rain. Axle deep sodden in places.For some reason there was a short cut option towards the end of today's route, not sure why as the last 15k were the most fun of the day (So, for the record, Gav, Richie, the RAF boys and myself did the full distance today, unlike quite a few people) Even the waist deep marsh bits were a laugh (might as well see the funny side of it otherwise that would been a pretty poor afternoon! Yes, I'm talking to you Mr Grumpy-pus who rode down and through it at the same time as Richie and myself frowning all the way: "lighten up! You could be at work for ****'s sake!)And, even better, I got to put my tent up in the dry, unfortunately it's now full of wet kit and smells funny. Right, that's all for now, need sleep for another 75k tomorrow. Hot showers are promised tomorrow night too so that's worth getting there early for. It's not a race though... ;-)
