Wed 20:08:2008 12:32 78k today. And very nice it was too. A fair bit of road got to us lunch quite quickly so there was no pressure to hammer it for the remaining distance. Some nice technical climbing and some fast (and loose) descents. This, mixed with a few more swollen river crossings gave us, I think, some of the best riding so far.And there was a hot shower at the end. Perfect.To top it all of we're back in (almost) civilization tonight so some proper food at a local hotel was well deserted ;-)Over the half way mark now too so it's all downhill from here (metaphorically speaking only unfortunately)Need to get off to sleep again before the time trial tomorrow morning. This might take longer than usual as the rain is battering off the tent and my wet gloves are drying in my sleeping bag tonight. Lovely.
